Family Time

After a super busy week of Boys and Girls Club last week, we spent this weekend with ourselves. It was lovely.

We cleaned the church Saturday morning with some WONDERFUL volunteers; we were there for about three hours with nine of us. It would have taken me and Ben ALL day. So thankful we had help! We spent the afternoon cleaning the house and the yard. It felt good to work together and not have to worry about rushing around after supper or having to put kids to bed alone. After supper on Saturday we went to the park with the girls. Katie loved it of course and Emma had a pretty good time too. We got some groceries after the park came home and tucked the kids in bed. Yesterday was church and then just us at home.  The girls were pretty cranky and Emma slept for about an hour when usually she sleeps around five hours for both her naps. I stayed home in the afternoon to let the girls sleep a bit longer and just listened to a couple sermons online. Don't you love Sermon Audio?  I didn't finish my 1000 piece puzzle though, so it's sitting two-thirds completed on my dining room table.

Well here are a few pictures from our trip to the park on Saturday.

 Little piggies!

Katie is not very brave; thankfully Ben's willing to climb all over the equipment with her!
